This online Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through this Website. Information stored is compliant with the USA, EU/UK GDRP and Canadian regulations. This is built into the functions of onsite and offsite storage or data centers as it relates to each collection method.

This website uses cookies to assist with speeding up your experience. This cookie contains no personal information and is stores as “priacy_cookie.” As a result, no personal identifying information is collected without your consent.

Project NatureConnect (PNC) utilizes two-factor authentication, independent regulatory assessment for User privacy, Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS), global data privacy, custom secure purge of files/information, expiration dates, audit/access logs, multiple firewalls, virus protection, and more.

Offline Privacy: Project NatureConnect has very extensive security measures in place for all data and information storage. Authorized administrator’s from Project NatureConnect will have access to some or all of your information, depending on their role with PNC. To maintain updated records your information may be backed up. Our storage system utilizes a firewall, virus protection, legal file retention policies, and multiple security operations that run hourly and daily.

Your offline documents are encrypted across multiple SSAE 16 type 2 certified datacenter locations with SAS RAID storage, backup, and automatic failover recovery.

Project NatureConnect has done its best to cover everything it can in its Privacy Policy. It’s impossible to cover every question since laws and regulations vary globally. If you have any questions please contact us.

If you, the User, have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. The latter is typically kept offline on a secure enterprise level server. We limit the number of administrator’s with information collected.

The Organization holds no responsibility for its affiliates, partners, and so forth. Each entity should have a privacy policy or security measures. The Organization does not oversight these entities and is not legally liable for any issues once you leave the Organizations Website. If you have questions about security/privacy of the Organization’s partners please contact them with questions, concerns, or to opt out or to retrieve your personal information from them.

Any of the information we collect from a User may be used in one of the following ways:

  1.  Your general contact information is collected in order to enroll you in training course(s).
  2. Your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs
  3. We continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we received from you.
  4. Your information helps us to more effectively respond to your service request and support needs.
  5. Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested by the you.
  6. The email address you provide for processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your enrollment, in addition to receiving occasional updates or service information, etc.

Note: Project NatureConnect utilizes an external service for highly sensitive information. When any information is needed a PNC Administrator will work with you to complete the paperwork. The Organization will never ask you for sensitive information. (I.E. credit card, social security number, bank account, etc.) If someone says they represent the Organization please contact us for verification before sending any information.

Some processes within Project NatureConnect may require written consent. A PNC Administrator will securely send/store any forms you need to sign. Anything that falls under this category will be sent to you via secure methods in order to collect your consent.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

If a User signups for a newsletter or mailing list you may unsubscribe through that service by following their instructions to leave the list. Please note if you leave a platform being utilized for your course related work you may loose your progress and be removed from the course. As a result, you will need to retake the course if you want a certificate of completion or CEU’s/Credits.


User, and visitor, comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form. We have added a function for storing visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. This information is encrypted, monitored by a security program, and is never utilized for any purpose other than to block SPAM, hackers, and robots from entering the website and creating issues.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.


If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you use a contact form your personal data is captured when  submit a contact form, securely. Any data collected via the website is moved offline to a secure location.  We do not sell your personal information for any purpose.


If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

By default this website platform does not collect any analytics data. However, many web hosting accounts or plugin services may collect some anonymous analytics data. Your personal information is kept confidential through a series of audits and security policies which is continuously updated.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or other rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Private user information is stored in various ways throughout the Organization. All User files are securely stored and some documents may not released for offline collection as it pertains to legal requirements, retention policies, and so forth. If you would like a copy of this information you may contact the Organization.

Occasionally, at the Organization’s discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

Data is encrypted using the best possible tools on the market. We have completed a Privacy Impact Assessment and Project NatureConnect Inc has a privacy policy and practices in place.

If we told you everything, it might cause an unnecessary risk. The Organization has strict protocols and will take swift action should it find or be made aware of an issue. If a date breach take place information is locked and the Organization will inform any affected User(s) as soon as the Organization is aware of an issue.

Some User information is not collected through this website due to the sensitivity of the information. Any personal information, enrollments, etc. are encrypted and taken offline and put onto an enterprise grade server on regular intervals.

The Organization follows and continues to update its policies to follow current industry requirements and standards.

This Privacy Policy was first implemented when GDPR regulations were released in 2018. Prior to this other the Organization maintained compliance with any regulatory issues regarding User or personal data.

May  31, 2020 Project NatureConnect Inc. completed an overhaul of its website. At this time, additional security measures were taken to ensure security of your private information.
